Roy Lichtenstein Pop Art

Roy Lichtenstein was an extremely influential American pop artists and a leading figure in 1960s new art movement. His work, at first, was considered strange, unpopular, even bad. Many of his pieces resemble comic book style panels, characters, and style. Lichtenstein's art can be simultaneously and meaningful. I especially like how he conveys a 2d feel in his 3 dimensional sculptures, and how similar colors source materials, and style link pieces from different times/eras.
