Jemima Kirke was born in London and grew up in New York City. She is also an actress but she primarily identifies as an artist. I really like how each of her portraits is able to capture so much emotion specifically in the eyes. I also like her bold, confident brushstrokes and her ability to create works that are not completely proportionally accurate, it makes them more exciting.
