I am particularly inspired by Tasha's work, not only because she is a close friend, but because she masterfully blends pictures of luxury and splendor with exquisite photos of nature. The lithographs speak to a calling of mine, which is preserving nature, and I believe Tasha does so through her ability to remind of us of nature even in the midst of luxury, which can so often blind us to the outside world. The color scheme in her photos are light, which allows us to capture the many aspects of her lithographs.

Jemima Kirke

Jemima Kirke was born in London and grew up in New York City.  She is also an actress but she primarily identifies as an artist.  I really like how each of her portraits is able to capture so much emotion specifically in the eyes.  I also like her bold, confident brushstrokes and her ability to create works that are not completely proportionally accurate, it makes them more exciting.
