Carly Waito

This painter is a favorite of mine, mostly because I am so amazed by her painting abilities. All her paintings are oil, usually on panel and sometimes on masonite. Carly Waito is able to paint these images of gemstones and crystals that look so similar to photographs, each time I look at her work I am always surprised it is not a photo. The translucency and color she is able to achieve with her oil paintings is amazing.
