Serena Cole:

Serena Cole went to the California College of the Arts and is now a teacher of art at UC Berkeley. She lived in a pretty isolated town growing up so this "created a fetishized association with anything perceived of as high art, fashion, or wealth". These are all highly detailed portraits using mostly colored pencil for the face and in some cases she uses watercolor of collage for hair or headpieces.
