Chino Otsuka and Francesca Woodman

http://www.ago.net/chino-otsuka
Chino Otsuka uses photoshop to insert herself into photos from her childhood to explore her past. I'm really impressed by her photoshop skills and I'm inspired by her ability to evoke emotions and explore her past. I like that they feel as though she is trying to reach out to her childhood self and trying to comfort herself in the past.

These are some gorgeous photos by Francesca Woodman. Im inspired by her use and exploration of the human body (both its presence and its absence).

This street artist, Edgar Mueller, creates a three dimensional illusions. It's interesting to look through the pictures of his process, to watch the way Mueller manipulates lines from the start of his process, giving his work the 3D effect. I recommend looking at some of his other projects on his website as well.

Karma Moffet is one of the artists I'm using for inspiration. He does awesome trippy cloud paintings that are really celestial and psychedelic. His realistic looking clouds make his fantastical work super captivating.

Keng Lye is an acrylic painter. He is able to paint an illusion of animals swimming in water. This process involves pouring resin into a bowl and then painting layer by layer on top of it. I really like in how his paintings are 3 dimensional and realistic. And also the detail in them.
